Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Rockenbaugh this year! Please review the available volunteer opportunities below and click on the button to sign up.

Please note: In order to volunteer, you must complete an application and a background check to ensure the safety of our students. Applications and background checks must be completed annually to ensure the district has updated information on each volunteer. Please note that a background check can take up to 72 hours to be processed and cannot be done on the spot at the campus.

Open Opportunities

  • Cafeteria Helper

    Want an opportunity to get to meet RES students? Our wonderful RES Cafeteria staff would LOVE your help serving lunch!  There are two shifts to choose from; 10:30-11:50am covering Pre-K/Kinder/1st grade and the other 11:40am-1:00pm covering 2nd/3rd/4th grade lunch times. 

    Ms. Yunis will give you a quick tutorial to get started.

  • Dad of the Day

    One of Rockenbaugh’s best traditions is having our amazing Dads at school with their young Dragon as the Dad of the Day. You and your Dragon will help with the carpool line and have a spotlight in the Dragon Tail News. Dad of Day activities are 7:15am-8:10am Monday-Friday.

  • Mother and Son Night

    Stay tuned for a SignUpGenius to volunteer for this year’s event on October 24th.

  • Grandparents Luncheon

    Prior to the event, a SignUpGenius will be shared to volunteer for this year’s event on November 21st.

  • Classroom Parties

    Prior to the classroom parties, the Homeroom Parent will send out a SignUpGenius to help setup and guide the students through the activities in the classroom.

  • Teacher Lounge Snacks

    Help stock the teachers’ lounge with snacks! Each month, a grade is responsible for bringing food and beverages. A SignUpGenius will be sent by the Homeroom Parents a few weeks before the start of the month.
