Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Rockenbaugh this year! Please review the available volunteer opportunities below and click on the button to sign up.

Please note: In order to volunteer, you must complete an application and a background check to ensure the safety of our students. Applications and background checks must be completed annually to ensure the district has updated information on each volunteer. Please note that a background check can take up to 72 hours to be processed and cannot be done on the spot at the campus.

  • Cafeteria Helper

    Our wonderful RES Cafeteria staff would LOVE your help!  There are two shifts to choose from; 10:30-11:50am covering Pre-K/Kinder/1st grade and the other 11:40am-1:00pm covering 2nd/3rd/4th grade lunch times. When you arrive, please sign in at the front office and then report to Ms. Yunis in the cafeteria so she can give you a quick tutorial.

  • Classroom Parties

    Prior to the classroom parties, the Homeroom Parent will send out a SignUpGenius to help setup and guide the students through the activities in the classroom.

  • Teacher Lounge Snacks

    Help stock the teachers’ lounge with snacks! Each month, a grade is responsible for bringing food and beverages. A SignUpGenius will be sent by the Homeroom Parents a few weeks before the start of the month.

  • Field Day

    Field Day will be held on Friday, May 8th. Stay tuned for volunteer requests from Ms. Fair and links posted here.

  • Library Helper

    Ms. Parks would LOVE parents to join her in the Rockenbaugh Library!

    Some roles require as little as 30 minutes and most roles have flexible dates and times.

  • Teacher Helper

    Our teachers spend countless hours planning lessons, grading, and preparing materials. Let’s give them a hand by taking on some of the time-consuming tasks they don’t need to oversee — things like cutting, tying, tracing, or sorting.

    Flexible hours and work can be done from home. Sign up to be notified when teachers have projects.

  • Dads & Donuts

    Support the Rockenbaugh Dad’s Club by hosting or volunteering at the monthly Dads & Donuts events.
