RES Families ARE Angels!

Thank you to all of the RES families, teachers and classrooms who donated gifts to bring a smile to over 120 angels with the HOPE agency through the Southlake-based organization Christmas Is For Children. The u-haul quickly filled to the top with garbage bags of multiple gifts and around 15 bikes! Many thanks to the sponsors who braved the shopping crowds to carefully choose the perfect item for the less fortunate children and to the committee that helped organize the outreach project: Tina Springer, Laura Grosskopf, Paige Green and Stephanie Pennington. Also, thanks to Paula in the office for helping with sponsor sign up!

Do you have ideas for RES Spring Outreach Projects? Send your ideas to info@respto.com.

Directories are ready!

The Rockenbaugh student directories are being sent home with your child on Friday, December 2nd. If you missed ordering one at the beginning of the year, a few extra copies are available in the front office. The first copy is free with PTO membership ($20); extra copies are just $5 each. Please make checks payable to RES PTO.

Apologies to our counselor whose name appears incorrectly in the directory. Please note, her correct name is Deborah Williams.

Questions about PTO Membership or the directory? Contact Rebecca Hindman.

Boosterthon Fun Run Raises More Than $21,500

For the second year in a row, the Boosterthon Fun Run was a big fundraising success. While the kids enjoyed running, skipping, and dancing around the track with their friends, they raised more than $21,500 for their school!

As the grade that collected the most pledges, the first graders will enjoy a pizza party later this month in celebration of their achievement.

Thank you again for your support of this year’s fall fundraiser.

Community Partners

A special thank you to Anita McSweeney and Susan Budvitis for their work on getting the word out about Community Partners events and rebates programs. Please remember to link your card to RES at participating stores and dine at participating restaurants on dedicated days. This is an easy way for RES to earn a few dollars from our community. Look for fliers in your Wednesday folder.
